Summary

On Sunday, August 3, 2026, sanitation workers in Uttarkhan, Dhaka, were attacked by goons of Neptune Accessories, injuring 15-20. Later, when DNCC Administrator Shofiqul Islam Khan and MP S M Jahangir Hossain visited the site, they and their entourage faced another attack by garment company goons, resulting in further injuries; police arrested three.
